NeighborWorks® of Grays Harbor County has recieved two million dollars to aid struggling homeowner's facing foreclosure. These funds are part of the National Mortgage Settlement between 49 state attorneys general and five of the nations largest mortgage servicers. NeighborWorks funds will be used in an effort to avoid foreclosures in the form of 'rescue and recovery loans' over an eight county area. Our emphasis will be successful homeowner retention in these rural counties using post-counseling loan opportunities. We are currently working out the details. Stay tuned for further information.
